Legendary Ford's Special All Six Issue
This issue also features several six-cylinder cars,
as it was a special
All Six Issue. It also includes two tech articles which were written by
Classic Inlines
Some Sixy History and Hot Lil' Six Shooters - Part 1.
The magazine articles came out great, as the editor
did a wonderful job on the layout. It wound up being the
All Time Best Selling Issue for Legendary Ford.

This article appeared in an Australian magazine,
which is very similar to our Hot Rod. When they contacted
us via e-mail, they said they had heard of
a new aluminum cylinder head which fit the Australian 200/221/250ci
pre-crossflow engines, and wanted to know if we would send some information and pictures. Of course, we were pleased to offer our assistance. They also plan to do a follow up story later this fall. |

Part 1, of a three part article, covers the steering, brakes, and suspension upgrades which were performed on our 69 Sportsroof. Classic Inlines purchased the car to use as a project car and test bed, which could be driven to the track yet offer some stiff competition to its V8 counterparts. With the upgrades the car will be just as comfortable on an open track as it is on quarter mile pavement. |

a few other induction systems which were not used for this project. Classic Inlines plan to do a follow up article with Mustangs & Fords next year, which will include dyno testing and the results from its debut

What happens when you take a six-cylinder Maverick, put EFI on it, and then hose it down with tons of spray? Find out by reading this article. This was a project Spectre Performance and Hot Rod Magazine decided to do with an old worn out 200ci inline six. But before they did, they called Classic Inlines for a little assistance and some advice. |

Classic Inlines sponsors this street legal 1963 Round Body Falcon with a turbo charged 250ci inline six. At the time the article was written, their cylinder head was a modified log head with a Holley 500cfm carb, which ran mid 12's thru the traps. The fastest time to date, with our new aluminum head, a custom ground Clay Smith cam, and a
600cfm 4V carb, is
a blazing 10.95 @ 125mph.

The first Six-Cylinder Performance Guide was printed in Hot Rod's Mustang Magazine, Volume #3. The article covers the popular Offenhauser Triple 1V modification, an Autolite 2V log conversion, the Duraspark II distributor swap, and other methods of increasing horsepower and mileage in the small Ford six. We hope you enjoy reading the article just as much as we did, as much of it still pertains to the modifications being made today. |
