Dyna-Module and Inferno Coil Kit includes the module, coil, all wiring, and easy to follow instructions. Used with our Duraspark Distributor, or any aftermaket Duraspark distributor, it is suitable for applications ranging from street use to all out racing. The coil and module are matched to the distributor to provide a reliable, yet "seat of the pants" performance difference in your Ford inline six. The Dyna-Module and Inferno Coil allow spark plug gaps to be opened up to .050-.055", providing serious firepower up to 6500rpm for street applications, or a maximum of 10,000 rpms for race.
For street applications the gold resistor (included), which limits the maximum rpms to 6500, is used as a precautionary measure to protect the coil and module from premature failure during long periods of running time. Even with the resistor in the system, the firepower from this kit is still much hotter than stock, from idle to 6500rpms. For all out racing applications, the gold resistor is not utilized, allowing the system to produce an intense spark up to 10,000 rpms.
Note: The photo below shows a conventional round style coil being used, but the wiring and installation would be the same.
