Add Horse Power by installing the most powerful ignition system available for the small six. Dyno testing on a 200ci engine showed an increase up to 15 HP over the Duraspark II and MSD Ignition system, and up to 20 HP over a stock ignition system. Manufactured by Performance Distributors for Classic Inlines, this DUI dizzy is the only one-piece, high performance ignition system available for your inline six. Since the coil and ignition module are self-contained in the distributor, it is truely a clean and simple drop in installation which eliminates ALL of the messy and confussing wiring associated with other ignition systems. Just run one 12-volt hot wire to the distributor and you're ready to run! A tach hook-up is also included for those who like to keep track of their RPMs.
This Street/Strip DUI Distributor is built with a 50,000 volt coil that allows a whopping .055" plug gap, which provides a more powerful explosion of the fuel mixture. The Dyna Module is designed with more electronic dwell time as well, producing an even hotter spark. Unlike stock Ford systems, and many aftermarket systems, no ballast resistor is required, which reduces the voltage in the ignition system. The D.U.I. allows FULL voltage providing a better spark and more power. Every D.U.I. distributor is custom curved on a machine based on the specifications provided by Classic Inlines, resulting in a super smooth curve, eliminate engine damaging detonation and providing instant throttle response.
Caps are available in Black, Red, or Blue. Custom Livewire kits are available in Black, Red, Blue, and Yellow. All parts needed for installation are included with the distributor, saving you time and frustration, and un-necessary trips to your auto parts store. The D.U.I. distributor is a real work of craftsmanship, and although it is uniquely designed, replacement parts are easy to find. High Energy Ignition (H.E.I.) replacement parts (cap, rotor, and coils) fit right on the D.U.I. dizzy and are available at most auto parts stores. Moduals are available from Classic Inlines.

Fits: The 5/16" drive fits all 200/250ci motors, as well as the late 170ci. It will not fit the 144ci or early 170ci, which used a 1/4" drive. Please designate cap color when ordering.
NOTE: While the DUI distributor will fit Econline trucks and vans, you must cut a small hole in the side of the doghouse and fashion some sort of bowl like cover to make room for the larger DUI distributor.

NOTE: The DUI distributor will not fit with a standard power steering pump due to the additional height and width of the DUI distributor. Classic Inlines is working on a custom bracket to allow the use of the newer Saginaw Power Steering pump, which will clear.
