Classic Inlines highly recommends degreeing the camshaft whenever you install a new cam or replace the timing chain. This complete Cam Degree Kit includes all the parts you need to degree your cam.  Please refer to our Tech Article for step by step instructions. 

Kit includes: (1) 11" degree wheel, (1) pointer, (1) 7" magnetic base dial indicator stand, (1) dial indicator with 1" travel, (1) lightweight ball and cup push-rod, and (3) solid lifters to suit all American lifter bore sizes.

NOTE: Many manufacturers automatically grind their cams with four degrees of advance, however Clay Smith Cams are ground straight up. As such, Clay Smith Cams should be installed with four degrees of advance for the best performance. For the best results, always degree a new cam, even if you have to rent a cam degree kit from your local rental shop or auto parts supplier. We guarantee you won't regret taking the time to do it right.
