Add Horse Power by installing the most powerful ignition system available for the small six. This distributor is the same as our DUI Distributors, but has been modified for EFI/TBI applications. Rather than the standard 4-pin module, the DUI-EFI distributor has a 7-pin module. The internal weights and springs, and the vacuum advance mechanisms have been eliminated, as they are controlled by the ECU.

Manufactured by Performance Distributors for Classic Inlines, the DUI-EFI Distributor is built with a 50,000 volt coil that allows a whopping .055" plug gap, which provides a more powerful explosion of the fuel mixture. The 7 pin Dyna Module is designed with more electronic dwell. With the increased dwell time, the coil will saturate longer to create a more intense spark, resulting in quicker starting, better throttle response, and more low end power.

Caps are available in Black, Red, or Blue. Custom Livewire kits are available in Black, Red, Blue, and Yellow. All parts needed for installation are included with the distributor, saving you time and frustration, and unnecessary trips to your auto parts store. The D.U.I. distributor is a real work of craftsmanship, and although it is uniquely designed, replacement parts are easy to find. High Energy Ignition (H.E.I.) replacement parts (cap, rotor, and coils) fit right on the D.U.I. dizzy and are available at most auto parts stores. Modules are available from Classic Inlines.

NOTE: While the DUI distributor will fit Econoline trucks and vans, you must cut a small hole in the side of the doghouse and fashion some sort of bowl like cover to make room for the larger DUI distributor.

NOTE: There may be clearance issues with power steering pumps, if so equipped. If you have power steering, be prepared to modify the power steering bracketry to make room for the large DUI distributor.
