The Performance Duraspark II Distributors have been machined and rebuilt with a custom full length bronze bushing,  which replaces the shorter stock bushing, thereby increasing the stability and durability. This eliminates top end timing fluctuations and spark scatter that occur at higher rpm's, which are common place in older worn-out stock distributors with the short factory bushing.

The Performance Duraspark II Distributor is a high performance unit for those who want a stock appearing or factory style electronic distributor. Each Duraspark Electronic Distributor is custom calibrated on a distributor machine and blueprinted for today's performance inline sixes, which provides maximum power & torque, instant throttle response, and eliminates pinging under light throttle. A super smooth advance curve assures excellent performance and mileage, while the vacuum advance is calibrated for maximum fuel efficiency.

The Performance Duraspark II Distributor  can be used for a number of applications from everyday street use to all out racing. The distributor is capable of 10,000 rpms with our Dyna-Module and Inferno Coil kit. While it will work with other modules and coils, rpm ability is not guaranteed.

Our Dyna-Module and Inferno Coil, which can be used with any  Duraspark II Distributor, is designed for street use and racing applications. The coil and module are matched to the distributor to provide a reliable, yet "seat of the pants" performance in your small six. The Dyna-Module and Inferno Coil allow spark plug gaps to be opened up to .055" and provide serious firepower up to a maximum of 10,000 rpms!

For street applications, the enclosed gold resistor must be used which will limit maximum rpms to 6500. The resistor is used as a precautionary measure to protect the coil and module from premature failure on long periods of running time. Even with the resistor in the system, the firepower from this kit is still much hotter than stock from idle to 6500. For all out racing applications, the gold resistor is not utilized, allowing the system to produce an intense spark up to 10,000 rpms. The kit includes all wiring with easy to follow instructions.

Your favorite aftermarket ignition wires can be used, or you can use our DUI Livewires, available in black, blue, red, or yellow. Sold separately.

FITS: 170/200/250ci with a  5/16" hex drives. This distributor WILL NOT fit the 144ci or early 170ci with a 1/4" drive. For 1/4" drives, please see the DUI Ignition system.
