Inline Classes - Rules & Guidelines

We've listed some of the classes an inline six could be competitive in, as well as a few guidelines and some of the basic rules you'll need to know. If you have any questions we didn't answer here, please post them in the Racing Sections of the FordSix forum. Thanks

Rules and Guidelines
Rule Name
Description
License
A valid state issued drivers license is required
Lights
The vehicle must have working tail and brake lights
Oil Leaks
The vehicle can not have any major fluid leaks
Lug Nuts
The vehicle can not be missing any lug nuts
Catch Can
All vehicles must have a minimum 1 pint radiator overflow bottle
Helmet
Required at 13.99 or faster (but always good to wear)
Gloves & Shoes
Not sure about the requirement, but always a good idea
Fire Jacket
Required if using any aftermarket power adder (T/C, S/C, NOS)
Tire Tread
Minimum of 1/16" required on street tires
Extinguishers
A good idea, but only required with NOS or 8.99 and faster
Safety Belts
All vehicles must have at least an OEM style factory seatbelt
3" Shoulder Belt
Required at 13.99 or faster

5 Point Harness

Required at 11.49 or faster
Roll Bars
Five point required at 11.49 and faster / or 135mph or faster
Roll Cages
Required at 10.99 or faster
Roll Bars - Verts
Convertibles- required at 13.99 or faster
Driveshaft Loop
Required at 13.99 or faster
Reverse Lockout
All vehicles w/ auto trans must have a positive reverse lockout
Elect Cut-off
Required if battery is not in stock location - must kill motor too
Fire Jacket
Required at 11.49 or faster
Clutch Protection
Shield or Blanket required @ ?
