This dual exhaust kit is based on the famous Arvinode K-Code performance exhaust system. The kit comes complete with header hookups, X-pipe, front intermediate pipes, two Arvinode mufflers, rear over-axel pipes, two tail pipes with resonators, turn down tips, and all required hardware. Some cutting may be required, but no welding. Headers sold separately.

Note: Dual exhaust kits are not available for convertibles, for the following models - Falcon, Comet, Maverick, or Fairlane.

The "AVINRODE" exhaust system was originally produced by Arvin, and offered on High-Performance 289ci "K"code Mustangs built from October 1964 through March 1965. The system did not utilize conventional mufflers; instead the exhaust note was “tuned” by combining the effects of resonance tubes in the front “mufflers” (or resonators) with conventional resonators integrated into the tailpipes. This system offered a unique sound that was low and aggressive (and loud), and improved peak torque and horsepower!

Pipes and mufflers are manufactured from 16GA Aluminized steel.
