All of our Autolite carbs are rebuilt by an Autolite Carb Specialist, who gain his experience working under the watchful eye of Jon Enyeart (the original owner of Pony Carbs). Each carb is thoroughly inspected, disassembled, and cleaned. prior to being re-plated. Each carb is then reassembled and calibrated, using the best parts available. The carb circuitry is also modified, resulting in a carb that idles better and runs smoother. If we don't happen to have the carb you need in stock, we can rebuild your carb, which takes approximately 4-6 weeks.

CORE CHARGE: We also charge a $100 core charge, which is refunded when you return your old Autolite 1100-1V carb core, and an inspection is done to verify it can be rebuilt. To qualify for the refund, the cores must be complete (no missing parts) and in reasonably good condition (no rust or pitting). We will not accept carburetors that are disassembled, incomplete, frozen, or heavily corroded. Such carbs are considered non-rebuildable and do not qualify for a core refund. If the carb can't be rebuilt, or if any parts are missing, the refund (if any) will be adjusted accordingly.  If you send us a carb that can't be rebuilt (or any carb other than an Autolite 1100), we will be happy to ship it back to you, however an inspection fee and/or the return shipping fees must be paid in advance.

NOTE: Failure to purge the gas line and/or installing a new fuel filter during installation will void the 60 day warranty.  If the product is returned, for any reason, you must include a copy of the receipt showing that a new fuel filter was purchased. Failure to do so will void the warranty and reduce the amount of money refunded.
