Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, this 3/4" billet adaptor is used to convert your stock 1V log manifold to a 2V manifold, allowing you to install a Weber 2V carburetor. The adaptor works with all integral log style cylinder heads, however the log manifold must be modified prior to installation, which requires the removal of the cylinder head.

Note: Our adaptors are now 3/4" thick, rather than 1/2", to make room for a vacuum port on the side. We also include four stainless steel Allen head cap screws for mounting, as well as instructions. The optional spacers are sold separately, or in a kit which includes one 1/4" spacer, one 1/2" spacer, and four carb gaskets.
NOTE: While the 32/36 Weber carbs are available in two styles, a DGV or DFV, Classic Inlines only sells the DGV series. Basically the carbs are identical, with the DFV being a mirror image of the DGV. The only difference is that the throttle blades of a DFV open clockwise, while the DGV carbs open counter-clockwise. Either one will work with our adaptor, as will the 38/38 Weber.

This shot shows why the spacers are needed to clear the V/C, however since our new adaptors are 3/4" thick, rather then 1/2", only one spacer is required. In most cases a 1/4" spacer will clear stock and/or chrome valve covers, however a 1/2" spacer is required for alloy valve covers. If your not sure, you can order our spacer kit which includes both sizes. |
