Fully machined and assembled, and is ready to bolt on out of the box. It comes with hardened valve seats, brass guides, 184/150 Port Flow stainless steel valves, single valve springs with damper (dual springs optional), and Viton valve seals. Port work is optional (see details).

Chamber Size: It is very important to verify the compression ratio prior to installation. Re-sizing the chambers, and surface milling may be required to achieve the desired compression ratio. Accepts: OEM and/or Aftermarket exhaust manifolds, headers, rocker assemblies, and valve covers.
Valve Springs: The valve spring installed height on an aluminum cylinder head is 1.6, as compared to 1.68 on the cast iron heads, therefore the spring pressures are slightly higher. The installed height also effects the coil bind, which is minimal when single springs are used. As such, our assembled heads are only offered with single springs with a damper (STY), or optional dual springs (TOY).
NOTE: Not only do the dual springs cost a little more, they also require additional machine work. Not only do the spring seats need to be re-machined so the dual springs fit over the seat, the valve guides also need to be machined for a smaller valve seal. As such the price for dual springs (optional) not only includes the extra cost for the springs, it also includes any additional machine work that is required.
ARP Stud Kits: Standard length bolts or studs will not work with the aluminum cylinder head due to the raised intake ports, therefore Classic Inlines offers two stud kits. Kit "A" includes 14 studs (7 long and 7 standard length) as well as 14 washers, 14 nuts. For those already using ARP studs, Kit "B" only contains the 7 extra long replacement studs that are required for installation (use your existing washers and nuts).
